I’ve built businesses, turned around struggling operations, trained leaders, and solved the same challenges you’re facing today. Now I help other service business owners do the same—with practical guidance, proven systems, and tools that make running a business easier.
Each point of light is a lever we move — from a single location to a national portfolio. Hover one, then click to explore.
Built and proven at portfolio scale, long before it was my own shop.
Bark & Purr is where the method is tested today. It was built somewhere else first — across hundreds of properties, tight margins, and contracts with no room for error.
A $3M Airport Contract, Red to Profitable
Hired to rescue a $3 million contract for a commercial services company at a top-3 U.S. airport that was losing money. Built the whole operating system — scheduled the crews, built the workflows, implemented standards, and set up an airport-approved billing system — and took a money-losing account to $800,000 profit in year one, scaling to roughly 40% margins as the scope grew.
G6 Hospitality (Motel 6) — the PIP Compliance Engine
Consulted for G6 Hospitality on the Property Improvement Plan program that rolled brand standards out across hundreds of independently owned franchise properties — the compliance layer that turns a brand refresh from a slide deck into renovated rooms. RevPAR rose roughly 43% over the period; the system doubled to roughly 1,500 properties; the brand was later acquired for roughly half a billion dollars.
35 Years at Enterprise Scale
Bristol Hotels & Resorts, then FelCor — three and a half decades operating and scaling hospitality portfolios at the enterprise level, long before "operational intelligence" had a name.
The discipline that took compliance standards to 1,500 properties is the same discipline that finds where AI actually changes a cost structure — not where it makes a good demo.
“I've turned businesses around my whole career — but every time I left, the discipline left with me. So I built the system that stays.”
I ran this method on my own business first.
Bark & Purr is a 20-year grooming shop I own and operate. It's where the EARN method is proven before it's ever installed for a client — the same discipline, on my own numbers.

My own shop, my own method — the live proving ground
Results from a business I personally own and operate. Every client operation is different; the EARN Audit tells you what's true for yours.
If you're reading this, there is a good chance you are really good at what you do.
Maybe you groom dogs, make pizzas, fix homes, run a salon, manage patients, serve customers, or lead a team.
You became a business owner because you were good at your craft. But running a business is a different craft.
No one hands you a manual for cash flow, pricing, payroll, taxes, marketing, hiring, workflows, sales calls, bank loans, certifications, RFPs, or reading financial statements.
That does not mean you are doing something wrong.
It means you are doing something hard.
My work is to help owners create the structure around the business: the systems, tools, numbers, workflows, and decisions that make the work clearer and the business easier to lead.
You do not have to figure it all out alone.
I help owners build the business around the work they love.
A grooming shop needs different help than a construction firm, but the diagnosis always starts the same way: find out what is actually happening before deciding what to build.

Valet Operations Labs and intelligent business tools — designed for service businesses that want to grow with discipline.
One career. Many environments. One mission.
Hospitality, finance, digital marketing, consulting, construction, pet services, technology. The industries changed. The problem did not: how do you help a business perform better when people, systems, and decisions are not aligned?
If your business feels harder than it should, start here.
We begin by understanding what is really happening. Not what should be happening. Not what the reports say on a good day. What is actually happening in the business.
The systems became Valet.
Valet Operations Labs grew from the same operating principles Linda has used for decades: visibility, better workflows, clearer decisions, and tools that help owners run the business with less guesswork.
Practical lessons for people building real businesses.
Articles, founder notes, videos, and future podcast episodes focused on operations, leadership, EARN, Bristol lessons, and the real work of building a better business.
What operational knowledge actually means — and why most businesses lose it.
When a key employee leaves, operational knowledge leaves with them. Here is how to turn that knowledge into a company asset.
