Ops Snapshot

See what is happening. Find what is limiting performance. Decide what to do next.

I review the operation and its data through the EARN Standard and 38 years of operational experience. Technology supports the analysis. The conclusions and priorities come from operating judgment.

Who it is for

You are excellent at the work. The business should not require you to carry everything.

The Ops Snapshot is for independent service-business owners who know something is not working but need a clearer view of the real constraint.

It is especially useful when the team depends heavily on the owner, financial performance is difficult to explain, paperwork is consuming attention, growth is creating friction, or technology is adding complexity instead of reducing it.

What the work examines

The operation as a connected system.

01

People and execution

Roles, staffing, training, standards, ownership, decision rights, and where the work depends on one person.

02

Customer and capacity

Service flow, scheduling, demand, handoffs, customer friction, throughput, and the work the business can complete well.

03

Revenue and profit

Pricing, labor, operating cost, revenue leakage, visibility, and the choices affecting sustainable financial performance.

A pattern from experience

A revenue problem may begin as an operating problem.

Incorrect invoices and unpaid balances initially appeared to be credit and collections problems. The underlying cause was a paper-based operating process that introduced errors before the invoice was ever created.

I redesigned the workflow and automated the inputs. The billing errors stopped because the system producing them changed. That is how I approach an Ops Snapshot: follow the visible symptom back to the operating condition creating it.

What you receive

A practical plan, not a binder for the shelf.

A clear operating picture

A plain-language view of what is happening across the operation and where information is incomplete.

Ranked priorities

The constraints and opportunities organized by importance, sequence, and the leverage they can create.

Recommended next steps

A practical action plan the owner can carry out independently or use as the starting point for implementation support.

Timing, inputs, format, and scope are confirmed before the work begins. No purchase or payment is taken through this website.

Why Linda

The advantage is not a template. It is pattern recognition.

I have spent 38 years building, running, inspecting, and improving operations across multiple industries and scales.

I use AI to accelerate analysis and build the spreadsheets, manuals, workflows, and training materials that help the plan become real. The technology makes the implementation faster. Experience determines what should be built and whether it will work.
